This BLT DIP is the perfect snack or appetizer for your next get together! All of the flavors of a BLT sandwich in a delicious, creamy dip. Perfect for serving with crostini, crackers, chips, and fresh veggies.
I’ve attempted growing tomatoes in my backyard quite a few times and I always end up with a huge pile of weeds and just a handful of tomatoes.
Well, this year I don’t know what happened, but holy moly. We had tomatoes coming out of our ears.
Pretty sure we ate BLTs for dinner at least twice a week once those tomatoes turned red.
I can’t wait to get my garden going this year!
In the meantime, we’re making do with store bought tomatoes and this fabulous BLT dip recipe! It’s absolutely packed with crispy bacon, tons of fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes.
This BLT dip is basically the only thing getting me through football season. 😉
My husband shouts at the TV, I stuff my face with dip. Seems like an okay situation.

Bacon: In a skillet (or whichever method you prefer for making bacon) cook the bacon until crisp. Drain the grease and soak up any remaining grease on the bacon with a paper towel. Crumble the bacon and set aside for later. Resist all temptation to eat the bacon right now. It’ll be hard, but I believe in you.
Mix: In a medium sized mixing bowl add the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch seasoning. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined. This is so creamy and fabulous!
Chop: You can use either romaine or iceberg lettuce to make your BLT dip. Chop the lettuce into small pieces and if you have a salad spinner use it to dry off the lettuce after washing. When the lettuce is ready start dicing the tomatoes into small pieces.
Don’t have a salad spinner? This spinner is a great choice and is the same one that we used in this recipe. We use it all the time!
Assemble: When you’ve finished chopping the lettuce and tomatoes add the dip mixture to a shallow dish (a pie dish works best) and spread the mixture evenly.
Now we are ready to make this a BLT dip! Go ahead and add the lettuce in a layer over the dip and then top with the tomatoes and crumbled bacon. Finally, add some green onion for garnish and your BLT dip is ready to be served!
