These BACON WRAPPED PORK BITES are packing all the flavor thanks to the roasted garlic seasoning on the pork and the crispy bacon! We like to dip these in the simplest homemade honey mustard. Big thanks to Smithfield for sponsoring this recipe.
I’m one of those people that absolutely loves having guests over.
Basically, it’s just one big opportunity for me to try out allllll the snacks and appetizers and new recipes I’ve created on them. Party guests = guinea pigs, in my world.
I’m working with Smithfield this year to bring you creative and tasty ways to use their fresh marinated pork products. I figured this was the perfect time of year for a little party appetizer that’s both simple and quick! Oh, and also absolutely delicious, because hello, it’s wrapped in bacon.
How to make these pork bites:
First, you’ll want to start with a Smithfield Roasted Garlic & Cracked Black Pepper Tenderloin. One of the reasons I love to start with Smithfield is that the pork is already seasoned for you and it’s been sitting in that season waiting for you to snag it from your local grocery store. That means the pork has had plenty of time for the seasoning to soak in!
Plus, Smithfield marinated fresh pork is made from 100% natural fresh pork with no artificial ingredients and it’s packed with protein.
If you’re not a fan of roasted garlic and black pepper, Smithfield has a huge variety of flavors (and cuts!) out there, so feel free to get creative!
So, grab your pork tenderloin and slice it into 1-2 inch chunks.
Open up a pack of bacon, slice it in half, and use each half slice to wrap 1 pork chunk.
Place the pork bites with the bacon seam facing down on a greased baking sheet and pop these in a hot oven for about 20 minutes.
Serving suggestion:
We like to serve these piled up on a platter with toothpicks so that people can easily grab one or two every time they walk by the plate. 😉
We also whip up a simple honey mustard for dipping. Just stir together mayo, mustard, and honey until smooth and creamy (full recipe in the recipe card below) and set it out with the pork bites. It’s simple and sweet and is the perfect complement to the rich pork.

Not that I donโt love the recipes but I am am a serious Keto person and when I see potatoes and bread in photos I truly wonder if the recipes are keto as the headline states
Karly says
There are no potatoes or bread in the photos and we didn’t call these keto, but they are as long as you skip the dipping sauce.
