These Greek chicken wraps start with our tender, flavorful, marinated Greek chicken and loads of fresh veggies in a soft wrap with creamy tzatziki sauce and hummus.
We’ve been enjoying all kinds of Greek inspired recipes lately and these Greek chicken wraps are a lunch time favorite, thanks to all those bright Mediterranean flavors. We’ve got all the favorites in here including hummus, kalamata olives, and Greek marinated chicken.
We start with our Greek dressing as the base for the marinade. It’s so flavorful and perfect for marinating chicken.
I like to air fry the chicken because it cooks so quickly (just 10 minutes!) but you can also toss it on the grill. This is the air fryer we use and, let me be honest, we use it almost every single day of our lives. We LOVE it!

♥ What We Love About This Recipe:
Crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, briny olives, and crumbled feta come together to create a symphony of Mediterranean flavors and textures. A drizzle of homemade tzatziki sauce ties the whole package together, adding a creamy, refreshing element. Whether you’re meal prepping for the week or looking for a quick and healthy lunch, Greek chicken wraps deliver on both flavor and nutrition.
By soaking tender chicken in a blend of tangy lemon, fragrant garlic, and earthy oregano, you unlock a depth of flavor that simply can’t be matched by plain grilled or baked chicken.
These are easy to customize for picky eaters. Have someone that hates olives? Leave them. Have someone that just can’t get enough feta? Really load it up!
These are delicious to make a whole Greek meal. Serve them with our Greek rice or Greek potatoes!
Ingredient Notes:
Chicken – I’m using boneless, skinless chicken breasts to prepare these wraps but you could also use boneless chicken thighs here too!
Greek Dressing – I’d recommend my homemade Greek dressing recipe but you can use any store bought brand here too. It’s the perfect marinade! For store bought we recommend Ken’s Greek Vinaigrette.
Greek Seasoning – We love Cavender’s for Greek seasoning.
Lemon – Freshly squeezed lemon juice won’t just add flavor, the citrus will help to tenderize the chicken and add bright, bold flavor.
Hummus – We’re using store bought plain hummus, but any variety (store bought or homemade) will work.
Veggies – Chopped romaine lettuce, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes add fresh flavor.
Kalamata Olives – It just wouldn’t be a Mediterranean recipe without the olives! We like to add kalamata olives to these wraps but you could use other varieties of olive if you have a preference.
Feta Cheese – Some crumbly feta cheese is a simple addition to these wraps. You can use more (or less) of this to taste.
Tzatziki Sauce – This cool, creamy sauce is what brings everything together in these Mediterranean chicken wraps! Try this with my homemade tzatziki sauce to get the best flavor.
Tortillas – I’m using flour tortillas to make these wraps but you could keep it a bit more traditional by using lavash wraps or by stuffing the mixture into pita pockets.
See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.
Variations:
Leave the chicken in whole pieces, marinade, and grill. Chop into bite-sized pieces before using in the wrap.
Add any other veggies you like to your Greek chicken wraps. Red onion and bell pepper are a great option.
We usually keep red pepper hummus on hand and it works great in this recipe. Plain hummus is also delicious.
Step by Step Instructions:
Step 1 – Whisk together the Greek dressing, seasoning, and lemon juice and pour that over your bowl of chopped chicken breast. Let that marinade for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
Step 2 – Drain off the marinade and transfer the chicken pieces to a greased air fryer basket. Air fry at 390 degrees for 10 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked through.
My Favorite Thermometer!
I love using this meat thermometer for making sure the meat is fully cooked! Easy for beginners & absolutely worth the low cost.
Step 3 – Spread the hummus over the tortilla and then top it all off with the romaine, chicken, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta, and olives. Dollop on some tzatziki.
Step 4 – Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then start rolling it up from the bottom. You’ll want to roll this fairly tightly so it holds together nicely when eating.
Expert Tips:
The longer you marinade the chicken, the more flavorful it will be! You need at least 30 minutes in the marinade, but 8 hours really is best and will give you delicious results.
Be sure to use large burrito sized tortillas for your Mediterranean chicken wraps so that they are large enough to hold all the fillings. If you warm the tortillas in the microwave for about 20 seconds, they’ll be much more pliable and easier to wrap.
Recipe FAQs:
We like to cook the chicken in advance and store it in a covered dish. You can also chop and prep the veggies and keep them in the fridge until ready to use. We recommend assembling the wrap the day you plan to enjoy it.
Greek chicken is a tender and flavorful chicken that’s been marinated in a combination of olive oil, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, and seasonings. We start with our Greek dressing which already contains all of these ingredients.
Large, burrito-sized tortillas or wraps work best to hold all the fillings. Gluten-free or low-carb tortillas will also work well, and you can also use lavash bread.
