My Chicken Parmesan Sliders are topped with marinara, cheese, and a savory buttery topping! This is a quick and easy way to get that Chicken Parmesan fix and the whole family goes nuts for these sliders.
I’m all about keeping dinner nice and simple and it doesn’t get much easier than frozen chicken patties. I’m not always a huge fan of frozen food, some of it just isn’t very good. But chicken patties? Sign me up – especially if I can take an extra few minutes to doctor them up!
These Chicken Parmesan Sliders are quick to prepare and a huge hit with hungry football fans, hangry children, and just about anyone else you might be feeding.
We’ve made Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan and Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan before. Both of those recipes could be used to make sliders, if you wanted to really go the extra mile…but for me? I’m keeping the sliders super simple and starting with the chicken patties. I love a good shortcut in the kitchen!

Slider Buns – We normally use Hawaiian rolls for our sliders, but we prefer regular slider buns (just small traditional hamburger buns) for this recipe. The size works better with the chicken patties and we’ve found that Hawaiian rolls are a bit too sweet for us in this one.
Chicken Patties – We use the perfectly round frozen chicken patties that are like large chicken nuggets. These will generally be smaller than the breaded chicken breasts. If you prefer to use breaded chicken breasts, you may want to use regular sized buns so everything fits a bit better! They won’t be sliders anymore, but they’ll be tasty!
Marinara – There is only one choice for us when it comes to this: Rao’s Marinara Sauce. It’s the best! It tends to be cheapest at Costco, but you can find it for a reasonable price at most grocery stores.
Cheese – We use a mix of shredded mozzarella cheese and shredded parmesan cheese to top these saucy little sandwiches.
Topping – You’ll melt some butter and mix it up with Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and onion powder to pour over these sliders. So good.

How To Make Chicken Parmesan Sliders:
Chicken Patties: Start by preheating your oven and baking the chicken patties according to the package instructions. When the patties are ready you can pop them onto the slider buns.
Marinara: Start spreading about one to two tablespoons of the marinara sauce over the top of each chicken patty. We love Rao’s Marinara but any brand will work! Sprinkle the shredded cheeses over the marinara sauce.
Buns: Place the top half of the buns back over the sliders.
Topping: Now to prepare the savory topping sauce! Add the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings to a small bowl and whisk together until combined. Brush or spoon the sauce over the top of each slider.
Bake: When ready you can place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the sliders for 20 minutes until the cheese has melted and the tops of the buns are golden brown.
Check the sliders after 15 minutes and if tops are already golden brown cover them up with foil and finish cooking for 5 more minutes to prevent the buns from burning.
Serve: Once these are hot and melty and heated through, serve them up to friends and family.
FAQ’s:
Yes! I’d recommend cooking them first according to the package instructions. This will help ensure the chicken patties are a bit crispy on the edges and heated through all the way.
Like most sandwiches these are probably best enjoyed fresh, but you could keep leftovers covered in the fridge for up to a couple of days. The buns might get a little soggy from the marinara and buttery topping, so you’ll want to reheat these in the oven for the best results.

What brand of chicken patties did you use? I’ve never seen any this size!

These aren’t really super small…they’re the normal sized patties. They’re just a bit larger than the slider buns. 🙂

Oh, I just realized I didn’t answer your actual question. These were the Banquet ones…they’re the smallest we could find. 🙂
