Just 3 ingredients to make these dump and go Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops! That delicious creamy gravy makes for some of the best pork chops and this dinner couldn’t be easier!
Would you like to save this?
Pork chops have always been one of our go to dinners whether we fry them in a skillet or toss them on a grill, but my absolute favorite way to cook them lately is in the crockpot!
We had been making our Crockpot Smothered Pork Chops almost weekly, but then one day I ran out of onion soup mix and decided to improvise.
These Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops were born and holy moly, my friends. So good!
My husband requests these crockpot pork chops about once a week and I am all too happy to oblige since this is a 3 ingredient dinner that you literally just dump and go! Couldn’t be simpler, faster, or any tastier!
Ingredient Notes:
Pork Chops – I’m using boneless center cut pork chops for this recipe. They are easy to work with and will slow cook perfectly when smothered in the creamy ranch sauce. Bone in chops will also work, but we’ve found we prefer boneless.
Cream of Chicken Soup – While our homemade cream of chicken soup substitute is delicious, it doesn’t always hold up great in the crockpot. We’d use the store bought stuff in this one.
Ranch Seasoning – We love Hidden Valley, but be sure to use the seasoning packet and not the dip packet. The dip has loads more sodium than the seasoning.
What We Love About This Recipe:
- 3 ingredients make this perfect for a busy day!
- The pork chops cook up so tender in the crockpot and the ‘gravy’ is delicious over mashed potatoes!
- Kids love just about anything ranch and this is no exception!
How to Make Smothered Pork Chops:
Mix: Combine the cream of chicken soup and ranch seasoning and stir to combine.
Pork Chops: Spray the crockpot with non-stick spray and place the pork chops in the crockpot.
Top: Spread the ranch mixture over the pork chops.
Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 3 hours.
Serve: Remove the pork chops from the sauce and whisk the sauce a bit to bring it all back together. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice!
Helpful Tip!
Our Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes couldn’t be easier to make and they’re perfect with these ranch pork chops in the crockpot!
FAQs:
Yes, absolutely! This recipe works well with cream of mushroom soup. Cream of celery, potato, or onion would also work in this dish.
It is perfectly safe to put raw meat, including pork, into modern crockpots.

You have a discrepancy in cooking times between this post and the printed recipe. The post has it cooking 6 hours while the recipe states just 4. Still giving it a try for tonight and will check in 4 hours put planning on 6.

Because the recipe doesn’t state clearly … I mixed the soup with 1 can of chicken stock and half a can of heavy cream. I added an additional can of soup straight from the can Un mixed. I also seasoned up the chops the night before. I thought of searing them before putting them in the crock. Turned out absolutely delicious.

The recipe doesn’t state anything at all about chicken stock or heavy cream, so I’m not sure where the confusion came in. Glad this still turned out tasty though!

This recipe was really good. I added yellow potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms to the crock pot. Cooked on low for 5 hours. Delicious!

I use the no salt version of the soup, since the ranch dressing is salty enough already, and it tastes really delicious that way.

My daughter doesnโt like pork. Can she use boneless chicken breast? And would you keep the time to cook the same. By the way I love it with the pork. I did thick cut boneless pork loin chops.
Karly Campbell says
Hi Marie! Yes, this would work great with chicken breasts. Timing should be similar, but keep an eye on it.

Karly, do you know of a crockpot that has a Pyrex type insert instead of the clay type they all seem to use? I’ve had issues with the clay type developing hairline cracks and now use a liner because the cracks apper to be a hiding spot for contamination.
Karly says
Hi Dave! I know the Instant Pot has a stainless steel insert, but a lot of poeple aren’t big fans of the slow cook function on that. I believe the Ninja foodi has a different type of liner as well, but I don’t have any experience with that one.
