These Halloween Marshmallow Bars are full of chocolate and peanut butter! It’s a super simple four ingredient no bake Halloween dessert recipe that is fun to make and fun to eat.
Have you ever wondered what happens when you melt chocolate and peanut butter together and then stir in a truckload of mini marshmallows?
No? Well, that’s okay. I DID wonder what would happen and I DO love to experiment in the kitchen, so here we are…
These marshmallow bars are seriously so easy to make with just 4 ingredients and you won’t even need to turn the oven on. I love easy no bake desserts like this!
We topped these off with the funky green, purple, and orange m&m’s, but you could also use Reese’s Pieces or Halloween sprinkles. Kinda digging the idea of using the little candy eyeball sprinkles in here too! Wouldn’t that be creepy?

Peanut Butter – Some creamy peanut butter melted together with chocolate is the perfect base for these Halloween marshmallow bars.
Chocolate- Melted milk chocolate chips will hold all the other good stuff together in this recipe!
Mini Marshmallows – If the chocolate peanut butter flavor wasn’t enough, these soft mini marshmallows add even more flavor and texture to the bars!
Halloween Candies – We love M&Ms so I used Halloween themed candies for these treats, but you could easily sub those for just about any candy topping!
What We Love About This Recipe!
Easy dessert recipes are sometimes the best, and this one is real easy! Just four simple ingredients and no baking required. It’s easy to turn these into a themed treat for gatherings with some Halloween M&Ms!
How to Make Marshmallow Bars:
Melt: This is a super easy, no bake dessert recipe! All you’ll need to heat up is the chocolate chips and the peanut butter which can be done easily in the microwave.
Add both of those ingredients to a microwave safe bowl and heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until the chocolate and peanut butter mixture is smooth and creamy!
Mix & Cool: There is not a whole lot left to this simple recipe, just stir in the marshmallows with the melted chocolate and peanut butter and then spread the mixture into a foil lined 9×13 baking dish.
Finally, we top these off with lots of Halloween themed M&Ms before popping the dish into the fridge and letting it cool for at least two hours before slicing and serving the Halloween marshmallow bars!
Helpful Tip!
If you’re looking for an easy holiday themed recipe this one is perfect! We made these for Halloween but you could easily modify this for other candy heavy holidays like Easter or Valentine’s Day! Just switch out the candy topping for the appropriate theme.
FAQs:
These Halloween marshmallow bars are best kept in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator. They will last up to a week.
Surprisingly, no! The semi-sweet chocolate chips and peanut butter pair perfectly with the soft marshmallows for a treat that is rich, but not overly so. The texture is great too – just the right amount of soft and chewy!

This is AMAZING! Like I did NOT expect it to go this well but my gosh is this delicious! I used normal sized marshmallows cut up and added a few carmel chips because I had some left over and it turned out so good. My 4 year old and 3 year old loved helping and it’s so darn easy they did most of it! I’m shocked like beyond shocked out how yummy and easy. I’m saving this and using it for all the holidays from now on. Thank you
