This Christmas Sangria is so simple to make with fresh cranberries, sprigs of rosemary, Moscato, and vodka. Festive and fruity – exactly what I want in a Christmas cocktail!

Christmas cheer incoming…
Sangria, but make it festive.
I’m a sucker for Christmas season. In fact, you’ll find my house fully decorated the first week of November.
Bring on the twinkle lights, Christmas tree cake dip, and holiday parties. I love this time of year.
Our Christmas Sangria is exactly the vibe we’re going for when we invite friends over for a holiday party. It feels fancy, but it only takes a couple of minutes to whip up. You can make this ahead and just stir in the sparkling cider when you’re ready to serve or you can make this at the last second.
Either way, something fruity and fizzy and vibrantly red is just the thing you need this Christmas season. Bring on the Christmas sangria!
♥ What We Love About This Recipe:
- Festive: This drink is SO festive. Can you even handle the little sprigs of rosemary in there? Like pretty little Christmas trees dressing up your drink. It’s also great for New Years!
- Fresh: The crisp, tart cranberries with the juice and sparkling cider keep this drink light, fresh, and fruity!
Ingredient Notes:
Moscato – This sweet wine is a favorite! Use whatever is in your budget. I’m currently loving the Kirkland Signature moscato from Costco.
Vodka – We like Tito’s but also enjoy the Kirkland brand from Costco. As with the wine you can use any brand you prefer.
Fresh Cranberries – They’re fresh, crisp, and tart! Plus they’re a festive red color which makes them perfect for the holidays and this Christmas sangria. You can garnish your drink with some of our sugared cranberries for even more festive fun.
Cranberry Juice – This gives the drink it’s gorgeous color and balances the sweetness of the wine.
Sparkling Apple Cider – We add a little fizzy goodness by including sparkling apple cider.
Rosemary – This is just for garnish, but it will flavor the sangria a bit if you leave it in for long!
Make Ahead Or At The Last Second:
There are two ways to make this Christmas sangria:
Start with cold ingredients and mix everything together. Serve immediately.
Mix everything but the sparkling cider together in a pitcher, place in the fridge, and let chill for a few hours. This will help the flavors develop together and get nice and cold if you started with room temperature liquor. Add cold sparkling cider just before serving.
I slightly prefer option 2 for a better flavor, but oftentimes I make this at the last minute and it’s totally delicious then too!
Helpful Tip!
Storage Instructions:
This Christmas sangria cocktail recipe will have the best flavor and freshness if drank within 3 days. The bubbles will disappear after a bit, so feel free to add more sparkling cider or a splash of club soda for more fizz.
