Just last night I made chocolate chocolate chunk bacon cookies. They were so tasty. I agree they mostly just tasted like chocolate chocolate chip, but I did like that little something extra that the bacon added.

Your mom is going gluten free? I have a bunch of gf stuff on my food blog. It’s sometimes a pain but it’s doable. Except when people do things like bring awesome bacon chocolate cookies around… those sound good.

you stinker! i was actually surprised to find that the combination of salty bacon and deep, rich chocolate is utterly irresistible to me. at least your cookies are small–i wouldn’t feel so bad eating as many as i would at one time.

You probably are already aware of this (given your professed LOVE of all things bacon), but Vosges Haut Chocolat makes a candy bar called the Mo’s Chocolate Bacon Bar… Sooooooooo good, I can’t even describe. I think you would like. I’ve seen it at specialty chocolate shops and even at World Market, but you can also order online. Yum!

The way I feel about bacon is put it out of sight, and it might, just might stay out of mind. I adore it. Don’t keep it in the house unless my second son is visiting, he loves it too. I would eat 4 slices every morning if I kept it in the house. Also: bacon and egg sandwiches; bacon and cheese in a grilled cheese; bacon instead of sausage in a Yorkshire Pudding; bacon with syrup poured all over it sitting on top of a waffle. Need I go on?
Now bacon in a cc cookie would jump right up there on my fave list. There are three things stopping me from making these this minute: 1: I am watching my weight because I pigged out on bacon for 3 weeks and 2: you mentioned you couldn’t taste the bacon much and 3: there is no bacon in the house!
Still, I am copying!
